We follow Bowie as he struggles to maintain his pop superstardom on the likes of Tonight, before finally throwing off the shackles and diving into the polarising rock project, Tin Machine, and then rediscovering his creative spark with one of his most under-heard albums, The Buddha Of Suburbia.

Inside this 132-page collector’s edition, our experts chart the highs and lows of David Bowie’s work from 1983 to 1993, analysing each diverse album of the period on a track by track basis, while also pulling out a playlist of lesser known gems for you to get your ears round.
